Luxe smiled as Caden started tapping out the beat on the lute case. He had a god sese of tming, bu Luxe dicided not to mention he lads' ears had a tendancy to flop about when he bobbed his head...
Luxe opened up his own case and removed two of the less shrll pipes. He too was able to qickly pick up the tue that Ladorak played, smiling behind the pipes at Vingo's song. Very well put.. Luxe' paws had a mind of thier own and were tapping the floor in a rythmic fasion, witching between the two ina manner that suggested he wul rather be taping out the jig with his footpaws than on the whilstle.
Luxe had nver taken a seat, preferring to sand the firepalce and play, which allowd for a nice jigging spot on the hearth. When Ladorak went on to the second song, he had to change whistle's, By the time he had changed whistles, he was ready to join in the song, following along with the ocarnina and the beat of Caden's psuedo drum.

Vingo grinned at their impromptu ensemble, especially at his nephew, who was beginning to get more absorbed in the music and seemed to be enjoying himself. Despite his initial shyness, the kit was warming up, and it made Vingo feel better about meeting his sister's son to see Caden trying new things. He had an adventurous spirit, that was for sure, just like his mother and uncle, but Vingo had been afraid of what being raised by Helandria may have done to Caden.
Their second song ended, and Vingo clapped enthusiastically. "Well done! I couldn't ask for a more willing group o'beasts t'play with. An' havin' a good drummer makes all the difference," he grinned and winked at Caden, beaming a wide, white smile at his nephew.

"Was my first time." Caden said, pursing his lips but giving his uncle a smile all the same. He was still being a bit more reserved than he wanted to be, but that's only because of his ingrained training to never let too much emotion show.
"Aye, you did a fine job lad." Ladorak said, lowering his ocarina and slipping more into sailor speech now. He tended to drift back and forth if he was in a good mood. Now was such a time, as the music had lifted his spirits, and he no longer felt uneasy with Vingo being around. Time would tell exactly how this marten would progress however in regards to his nephew.
"Right then, I'll get you set up in the guest room upstairs. It has a land view of my back garden, no nasty ocean views for you Jal Sken." Ladorak said, giving the marten a wink now as turned to head up the stairs. "You should like it. In the spring all of my plants and flowers are in bloom, none of this dead empty ground thing you get in winter. Caden why not help me set up the bed for your uncle?"
"Uh...sure Ladorak!" he said, springing to his footpaws and clomping after the ermine. Vingo would have a week....and could choose to stick around or leave after it was up. Ladorak wasn't sure what decision he would make, and whether or not this would be his last week with Caden, but he would cross that ford when he came to it. Best to be accommodating, and provide Vingo with everything he would need. Get him to know his nephew better....yes....it would be a week unlike any Ladorak had ever dreamed he'd live through. But as with any challenge, he faced it head on. The Fugate household would grow just a bit this coming seven days.....
