"Politics, you say? Well, I've never had much interest in it. Until now that is, as it seems to me that this country, and Cosnair in particular, seems to have a rich political history," Sciurus replied, swishing his tail as he did so.

"Very rich, very rich yes!" Otto nodded emphatically, clearly in to that whole arena of the stage. "Oh yes, I nearly forgot. Do you have a current home here? I wasn't sure if you said when you arrived here or not, so forgive me if I'm repeating myself." The otter seemed almost giddy now, and it was quite clear that he was very happy with these potential new arrangements.

"I do not, I currently have temporary lodgings at the local inn. Over the seasons I've learned that if you are a wanderer, it's best not to get too attached to the area in which you are currently staying, so I haven't had a home of my own for quite a few seasons now," the red squirrel replied.

"The inn!?" Otto was aghast at this. "But staying there would cost money! I can understand your line of thinking about not wanting to settle down in a place for too long, but if we're going to be partners, I really must you get yourself some permanent lodgings." the otter cracked a smile at this.
"If you're unable to at present time, then you could always sleep here, couches galore after all." The otter spread his arms about him to indicate the parlor definitely was not locking in that end. He extended a paw to him now. "Well then, I guess I'll make it official. I'm going to grant you rights to a partnership with me here at my parlor, if you so choose to accept, and don't worry, it won't be a binding or slippery deal, I'm not a stickler with friends after all."
It looked as if Otto Kurtz had made a most unique friend. One he could rely on to help him with his business, one who shared his interests, and one who might prove useful in this ongoing revolution as well.....

"Yes, it would seem that I'm in for the long haul," the squirrel commented.
"Of course I accept your offer, Otto. Hopefully we can get things set up as soon as possible," he replied, shaking paws with the otter once again.
Sciurus Whirlpaw couldn't wait to meet the other members of the Cordeliers Club so he could get to grips with the ongoing trouble in Rosferia and lend a paw in the revolution.
He just hoped he wasn't getting more than he bargained for...
