Beginning
A long way away from his roots, Incredibull Halfhorn resides peacefully as an inactive officer in Cosnair. Teaching his students about the world, living in close comfort with his grand parents, he's had a good life. The day is bright, nature's noise is echoing throughout the land, how could things get any better? Grandma Halfhorn: "Bully, how was your day?" as Incredibull walked through the doors of his grandparents' house. Incredibull: In a loud grunt, "Marvelous! the kids are finally understanding the importance of history, and why we are in the state of chaos going around to everyone's doorstep." Grandma Halfhorn: "You and your lectures, must you spoil the minds of these kids? Oh nevermind, I'm certain you're doing it for their own good." She slowly made her way to the kitchen. Grandpa Halfhorn was working outside the house on a gadget he's been obsessed with since he was a child. Some refer to Grandpa Halfhorn as the coocoo of Cosnair with a chip off his horn, a rather big chip. This is perhaps the reason for the family name change, since it was very noticeable. Incredibull walks outside and takes a deep breath, and with a loud roar, he said "Get off your lazy bones and get ready for lunch!" Grandpa Halfhorn: "T..t.t....there's noo.o..... oil!" Incredibull: "Give it a rest, you can finish it when you're 90. That, or you can wait until after lunch, we'll squeeze the fish like last time!" Grandpa Halfhorn: "No...o... I hav...ven..n't.... much ... ch... time l...left... in .... in this world...." He takes a deep breath, rests for a few seconds and begins talking clearly. "You know I have to get this machine done. It's been my pride, and I've sacrificed everything for it...." Incredibull: "There's nothing like seeing my gramps working on a machine that may never work... You know we don't care if you finish it or not, just try to spend a bit more time with us." Grandpa Halfhorn walked out of the shed where his machine was and began putting tools away. In a depressed voice, he said "I suppose you're right. I have spent too much time on this and not on my family. Maybe I'll take a break. This machine isn't after all going to do much when it's done anyway, so perhaps someone other than the army could find a use for a gadget that rapidly cuts food. The army would never need something like that." said Grandpa humorously. Incredibull: "Let's go, lunch smells ready." Grandpa and Incredibull both went inside and enjoyed a large meal of cut fish and potatoes. The topic of discussion at the table was about Incredibull's roots, and the old family name. The family's name had once been Guillotine, and the main reason Grandpa Halfhorn changed the name was to keep hidden from debtors that funded his project for 4 years. Next Day
Incredibull wakes up with a stiff back as always, getting ready to go on patrol. With a large CRACK, his back is in better condition. He goes downstairs and eats breakfast. With a shout, he says "Off to patrol!" of course waking up his grand mother and grand father, but this is custom and acts as their wake up call. NEXT
Okay Cal, you take it from here. Lemme know how I did. What, oh what will happen to Incredibull on patrol?

The city was in a state of clear agitation. The trial of Augustine, former King of Rosferia, was going on right now, and many citizens were coming out of the wood works. Royalists and republicans both were out in the streets, holding large demonstrations either in favor of or against proclaiming the former monarch guilty or innocent.
The trial was public, and was currently jam packed, as it was being held at the National Convention's building. Both royalists and republicans were coming to blows almost daily though, and beating each other up in the streets. A few members of the old army supported the King, but most were in favor of killing him, or at least declaring him guilty.
The scene presented to Incredibull was one of unrest. Crowds were everywhere, most confronting each other in the streets and shouting in each others' faces over the fate of Augustine. The republicans by far outnumbered the royalists, but the royalists were still a vocal entity in the city as well.

Incredibull cautiously heads towards the crowds to ensure no hostility occurs. He sets his back against a wall holding a baton in his left hand and clamps his right ready for any sudden violence.
Incredibull: "Keep your shirts on people! Anyone caught damaging property will be arrested and placed under confinement."
The streets were an uneasy setting, but not for Incredibull since his life was based around action and adventure. He awaits for any breaks into stores, smashing of public property, and fights that break out. Eagerly he smiles and his heart rate raises.
Incredibull: "When will farm animals ever learn..." he grunts.

"It's not property we're interested in!" one, a royalist shouted. "We barely own anything as it is! It's these scum that have taken it all from us!" he spat angrily, pointing in the direction of the republicans.
"Yeah shove off! We took it rightfully from you black guards! You nobles are disgusting! Always hoarding your wealth and saving it rather than dispersing it amongst the people! You got what you deserved!" a member in the other crowd shouted back.
"And we'll kill you to ensure that our King survives! He must survive! He has no right to be put on trial by you commoners! You illegally removed him power and we'll kill you to ensure his survival!" another royalist countered.
"We'd like to see you try!" "Yeah come and get us!" "We'll smash you into the streets!" the taunts and jeers from the republicans came back now. "We've got freedom at long last! We're not letting that go!" A few on both sides began grappling with each other, shoving each other down and soon fists were flying. The royalists lacked numbers but most had weapons of some kind or another thanks to having had money in times before these.
The republicans too were armed, though to a far lesser degree than the royalists were, but they had numbers on their side and could easily swarm this royalist mob if they called together enough beasts. Some short swords gleamed in the crowds now as they were drawn from their sheaths, flashing in the sun as both groups started to go at it.

Drawn by the threats of killing, Incredibull makes his way towards the crowds. To justify his intentions, he raises his baton smacking it against his hand and looks at the citizen who stated this and gives off a short grunt. He calls nearby guards to aid him in the forming of a barricade to prevent violent citizens from escaping.
After seeing the first fists fly, Incredibull shouts even louder for the guards to help him. He waits for the guards and holds his stance against the aggressive crowd.
Incredibull: (In a loud deep voice) Debate not on my street, for there's hell to pay if harm comes upon the innocent! I'll ensure every bone in your bodies are broken if this continues! Break it up, break it up!
He holds his stance and waits.

The general police are out and about trying to contain some of the crowds, who nevertheless outnumber them by quite a bit. However, the crowd near Incredibull turns upon him, appearing to pay him no heed in their anger.
"You don't even realize what this means to us! The King must die! If he's kept alive the other monarchs will continue to attack us until he's back on the throne! Our survival is at stake!" one of the republicans shouts.
The royalists try to raise their voices as well. "It's just as well! At least then this whole Revolution nonsense would be ended dead in it's tracks! There can be no interlopers on this!" they look threateningly at the large bull, sizing him up and realizing that a frontal assault would be more likely than not useless.
"So where do yo stand? With us or against us? You must take a side! You either support the King or you support the people, but don't stand in our way! Help us break up this group if you're for us!" the fervent republicans cry, shooting the royalists aggressive looks, who return the gestures.
Some troops were arriving from the National Guard, but many of them were already a part of the republican crowds to begin with, and in open support of the demonstrations against the King. The royalists had some powerful groups themselves, but many of them weren't concentrated in the capital. The leader of the National Guard, Santere, was instrumental in swinging them over to the republicans' side, and thus most of the troops in the capital were part of the original group that had overthrown the King in the first place.
So it seemed as if Incredibull was in a bit of a tight spot at the moment. The actual soldiers were in open support of the republicans, as the Revolution had really begun as a military coup more than anything else, and had ended up as a shaky democracy for the time being.

Miri Talian strolled the streets of Corsnair. Trying to find out what was going on in the streets. She and Monty were leaving in less than two days, but the last word she had about her cousin placed him here, in Corsnair.
Now with all this... revolution going on, Miri didn't know if she would be able to find him in the time left. Being a mercenary meant that she could care less about who was in the government, though she did think it would be easier to freelance if more beasts had money, so democracy can't be all bad.
Miri was following a lead she had been giving from one of the more... shady beasts around town and was looking for Miller's Lane, which took her right past the confrontation with the mob and Incredibull. Miri always found a way to come in on a fight for the one who was in a tight spot, she walked up behind the rather large.. wait scratch that, rather HUGE (compared to the small ferret)
"Hey Big Guy, whats going on?" She didn't know if her help was needed, but just in case, she readied her favorite weapon, her brass knuckles.... just in case.

Looking at the hostile crowd, Incredibull shouts in a deep voice - "I don't care what side you're on, as long as you're protesting on my streets, you do so at my rules! Those found to be endangering the innocent will be locked up and dealt with by the higher authority!"
Getting pumped up, but in a staggering state, it was actually a relief Incredibull was approached by additional soldiers and one in particular named Miri.
Incredibull looks at Miri and says "They're getting out of hand. They can't expect a protector of the public to take sides, my only interest is that everyone follows the laws. Endangerment of society cannot be tolerated with, and action must be taken."
Incredibull nods in agreement in response to Miri's offer to help comfort / settle down the public. "We need to calm them down until more reinforcements arrive, atleast in numbers we can settle their uneasiness, or atleast keep them under control."
