Species: Least Weasel
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Markings: A bit of white on the bridge of his nose, but otherwise nothing special.
Willard is a patriot. He lives, breathes, eats, sleeps, and... well, he's Welkin all over. It was his choice to join the navy when he came of age, and it was to this end he educated himself for the past several years, building his young body up to a tolerable level of service. As a least weasel, he is the smallest of carnivores, but every inch of him is well-toned muscle. Willard lives by the weasel rule--to cast off what is unnecessary and focus on what is.
To that end, he has very little friends. His demeanor is often seen as sour and aloof. Not because he harbours any distaste for his fellow beast, but because he simply doesn't see the point in trying to win them over with charisma. He respects those that respect the law, and expects those who respect the law to respect him in return.
For such a single-minded creature, Willard is not without his flaws. He dislikes sharing what he knows, for he knows that knowledge is power, and he wants the power all to himself. If his messmates get in trouble for not knowing the rules, that is their own fault. It is not his place to teach them; it is his place to abide by the rules to the best of his own ability, and hopefully rise above the muck and be promoted early.
Even so, he does get upset when idiots surround him. He bottles up his anger and rarely speaks out. He is, by all appearances, shy and meek. Like most least weasels, he really does not fear much (except forgetting a rule or failing to do his best at a job) and will stand up to bullies and mean-spirited superiors, as is his right. Though he is often seen trembling, this is because of bottling up his frustrations. He never, ever lashes out at anyone, no matter their incompetence. His pillow is quiet another matter.
He hates being wrong most of all.
All in all, Willard has a good heart, a good brain, and wants to do the right thing--it just so happens that this last one he wants most of all, at the cost of everything else. He doesn't make a good friend, but he will stick his neck out to help if it's the right choice.
